Benefits of Agniveer (Agneepath) to Indian Air Force
- Indian youth whose age is between 17.5 to 21 years can apply for this Agneepath Scheme.
- Agneepath will allow youth to serve in the armed forces for a period of four years.
- LIC (Life Insurance): Firefighters will be provided life insurance cover of Rs. 48 lakhs for the period of their engagement as Agniveers in the Indian Air Force.
- Agniveer Skill Certificate: After completion of the time period Agniveer will be given a skill-set certificate by the Indian Air Force.
- Leave: Annual: 30 days, sick leave. Based on medical advice.
- There will be some benefit every year in this Agneepath scheme.
