IGNOU B.Ed 2024: Indira Gandhi National Open University has released the IGNOU B.Ed 2024 on the official website, ignou.ac.in. The IGNOU B.Ed Notification 2024 was announced on 12 December, 2023 for the B.Ed programme. Candidates who possess the basic eligibility can apply for the IGNOU B.Ed apply online link from 12 December, 2023 to 31st December, 2023. As per the official IGNOU B.Ed 2024 notification, the examination is scheduled for 07th January, 2024. The minimum eligibility to apply for the IGNOU B.Ed Application Form 2024 is having a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised board.

IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2024 is an annual entrance test that is conducted by the university for eligible candidates. Those who qualify for all the rounds of the entrance exam will be considered for admission to a 2-year B.Ed course. IGNOU B.Ed 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The IGNOU B.Ed Eligibility Criteria have been prescribed for all the candidates on the official notification. The candidates who fulfill all the basic factors of the IGNOU B.Ed exam will be called to appear in the examination only. 

• The candidate must have secured atleast 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity
• Candidates who possess a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent will be allowed to appear in the IGNOU B.Ed Exam
• Candidates who have Trained in-service teachers in elementary education will be also considered eligible

The IGNOU B.Ed Application Form 2024 has been released on 12 December 2023. The candidates who possess the basic eligibility i.e. age limit, educational qualification and domicile. The application form will be released in the online mode for the eligible candidates. IGNOU B.Ed 2024 Exam Pattern

• The IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam will be held in the offline mode
• The nature of the questions asked in the IGNOU B.Ed exam will be multiple-choice-based 
• Part A of the IGNOU B.Ed Exam Pattern 2024 will have questions from four subjects namely, General English Comprehension, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Teachers Ability. Whereas Part B will have 20 questions from specific subjects
• Each question will account for 1 mark and there is no mention of negative marking for wrong answers
• The IGNOU B.Ed 2024 will be held for a duration of 2 hours

IGNOU B.Ed 2024 Answer Key

IGNOU B.Ed Answer Key is released for the examination in the online mode. The IGNOU B.Ed Answer Key is used to check the marks secured in the examination and assess the overall performance. IGNOU B.Ed 2024 Counselling

Candidates finding a name in the merit list will be called to attend the IGNOU B.Ed 2024 counselling process. This process includes three steps namely, counselling registration, counselling verification and final admission. The successful candidates have to first register for the IGNOU B.Ed Counselling process on the official website. The competent authorities will call them to verify their documents and based on their rank and available seats the candidates will be offered a seat in the IGNOU B.Ed programme.
