International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global holiday celebrated annually on March 8th. It’s a day to:

International Women’s Day has been observed for over a century, with the first gathering in 1911 attracting over a million people. Today, it’s a global movement celebrated in many countries around the world.

The theme for International Women’s Day 2024 is “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress”. This theme highlights the importance of investing in women’s education, health, and economic empowerment to achieve a brighter future for all.
