The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a brief announcement regarding the recruitment for Group B and C positions, encompassing roles such as Auditors, Accountants, Tax Assistants, Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors, Junior Statistical Officers, and various others. SSC CGL – Eligibility Requirements

Nationality: Candidates should be a citizen of India.

Educational Qualifications

The SSC provides various government positions for different departments, branches and offices. The commission has released the post-wise educational qualifications, which are as follows:

  • For Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject or discipline from a recognized University and a CA/CS/MBA/Cost & Management Accountant/Master in Commerce and Master in Business Studies.
  • For Junior Statistical Officer: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline from a recognised university or have a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics in Class 12th.
  • For Statistical Investigator Grade II: Candidates must possess a graduation degree from any recognized university with Economics, Statistics or Mathematics as a compulsory subject or Elective Subject.
  • For Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC): Candidates must pass a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institute with at least one year of research experience in any recognized university or recognized Research Institution.
  • For Remaining Posts: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognised university or institute.

The minimum age limit of the candidates should be 18 years, and the upper age limit of the candidates should not be more than 32 years. Candidates can check the post-wise age limit here:

Registration Fee Details

Candidates have to pay ₹100/- for this examination. The applications will not be accepted without paying the examination fee. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PH/Ex-Serviceman and female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
