Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially opened the online application process for the 21st edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026. Candidates aspiring to teach Classes I to VIII in central government schools such as Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS) and other recognised institutions can now submit their applications through the official website, ctet.nic.in.
The CTET 2026 online registration commenced on 27 November 2025 and will remain open until 18 December 2025. As per the schedule released by CBSE, the examination will be conducted on Sunday, 8 February 2026.

How to Fill CTET Online Form 2026

Step 1: Visit the Official Website
Go to ctet.nic.in and click on the “Apply Online” link for CTET February 2026.
Step 2: Complete Initial Registration
Enter basic personal details to generate a Registration/Application Number. This number should be preserved for future login and reference.
Step 3: Fill the Application Form
Provide accurate personal, educational and contact details as required in the application form.
Step 4: Upload Required Documents
Upload scanned copies of the photograph and signature strictly as per the prescribed format.
