SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2026: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the official notification for the Constable (General Duty) in CAPFs and SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026. A total of 25,487 posts will be filled across forces such as BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles, and SSF.

The online application window is open from 1 December to 31 December 2025. Candidates who have passed Class 10 and meet the required physical standards are eligible to apply.

Pay Scale

All selected candidates will receive a salary under Pay Level-3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100) along with applicable allowances.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Must have passed Matriculation/Class 10 from a recognised board.
  • Qualification must be attained on or before 1 January 2026.

Nationality

  • Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Age Limit

  • 18 to 23 years as on 1 January 2026
  • Candidates must be born between 2 January 2003 and 1 January 2008.

  1. Visit the official SSC Portal (ssc.gov.in).
  2. Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR).
  3. Log in and fill out the online application form.
  4. Upload the scanned signature. The portal will capture a live photograph via webcam.
  5. Pay the application fee online.
  6. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
